Christian Counseling to provide hope for life's challenges!

Sarah Smith

Licensed Mental Health Practitioner

Sarah earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to entering the counseling field, she spent several years ministering to college students in the U.S. and Japan. With over a decade of experience mentoring women spiritually, she continues to have a passion to help others address deeper issues in their lives.

As a counselor, Sarah is passionate about cultivating hope and healing in her clients. This is done utilizing cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused techniques while integrating biblical truth and principals in the counseling process. Sarah currently works with women or couples who are dealing with issues such as grief, depression, anxiety, trauma or sexual abuse, healthy boundaries, self-esteem, spiritual growth, cultural issues, life transitions, as well as relational, marital and vocational concerns. Sarah is passionate about providing counseling services to missionaries who may be back on home assignment or overseas.

Sarah currently works part-time as she primarily stays home to take care of our son. She enjoys frequenting coffee shops, travel, going for walks, spending time with those she loves and serving at her church in a variety of ways.
